There are many different ways to contribute to Louisville Grows, all of which are essential to the success of our organization. If you support our mission, we encourage you to participate in any way that you are able.
Support a Community Garden
Be a Friend of the Neighborhood by donating $1,000 in either in-kind of monetary value. This level of donation will ensure a garden’s success, and as a thank you, you, or your organization, will be including in our press releases and placed on the sign at the head of the garden to be remembered as a “Friend of the Neighborhood”.
We understand that this amount will be too large for most contributors, and for these contributions we offer other ways to be recognized as donor. A more garden specific placement of your name will be created for any donation over $500, and a donation of less than $500 will get your name placed among our recognized list of members.
Not everyone wants to be recognized for their donations in which case we will keep your information completely confidential.
If you are thinking about providing an in-kind donation we’ve got a wish list a mile long. In-kind donations are an important part of the creation process. They not only provide the foundation of the garden, but the also put us in touch with your expertise in using the materials.

Volunteer
Volunteers are one of the most valuable resource that we could have. We will need help building gardens, working events, planting trees, and any number of projects that we are or will be planning. If you are interested in helping out check out our Garden Liaison page, sign up to our newsletter, or join our facebook groups and watch for events.
Feel free to let us know what level of involvement you are looking for.
Join the Advisory Board
If you are looking for a little more involvement and feel as if your expertise would prove helpful in insuring the success of Louisville Grows you can apply to be a part of the Advisory Board. This board will meet once a month to discuss the operations of Louisville Grows and provide a monthly recommendation list to the Working Board as well as fund raising aid.
