As your event planner we will:
- Commit to sustainable event management through provision of resources to enable it – time, people, money, materials, knowledge
- Work toward relevant event industry standard, certification or reporting principles
- Work with the supply chain to encourage sustainability
- Carry out due diligence along the supply chain to ensure the most sustainable purchasing choices are made
- Carry out activities in adherence with the responsible business practices of inclusivity, integrity, stewardship and transparency, and not to participate in anti-competitive behavior, bribery or corruption
- Prioritize health and safety, diversity and equal opportunity, and fair working conditions for the event workforce
- Have active and participatory, rather than passive, waste processes at your event to engage participants in the principles of separation and diversion from landfill
- Communicate with and engage the community
- Be transparent in event reporting and allow stakeholders access to the report
- Make no unsubstantiated and unverified claims around environmental performance of the event
- Provide measure and report impacts, including keeping up to date with the event industry norms of reporting scope
