I truly appreciate everyone, but today I am especially appreciative for the people who were able to come out today and help the Olmsted Conservancy. There was a call from a friend of the community and you stepped up to the plate. Here is the message Sarah posted on a thread just minutes ago:
“thanks you sooooo much! we did it- couldnt have done it w/o your help! hope to see you in the parks again soon!”
Hundreds of native trees were planted today in the parks that make this city more than special. They make it a wonderful place to live. So now when you go for a run, take your dog out, play kickball or do what ever it is that you do there at night you can say that you own a part of the park, that you helped make it what it is. Like Sarah said, they always need help so keep the Conservancy in mind when you have a spare couple of hours and want to do something for the community.
